Chin Advancement/Augmentation
A recessed or "weak" chin can be surgically altered to present a more balanced and proportionate appearance. One option is a chin implant, but they may move out of position and may also wear away the underlying bone. Chin advancement is often a better option. Through this procedure, we move the chin bone forward through an incision in the mouth. The result often makes a dramatic improvement in the patient's appearance.
