That means that in addition to graduating from an accredited medical school, he has completed a minimum of five years of residency training in all areas of surgery, with at least two years devoted entirely to plastic surgery. Certification by the ABPS then requires comprehensive written and oral exams. Dr. Yearsley is a skilled specialist in the field of plastic surgery.
